The goods and services inside are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you select.

 

The responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement, prior to the drafting of any contract, in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties:

The only warranty on the casket and/or outer burial vault sold in connection with the service is the express written warranty if any, granted by the manufacture company. This Funeral Home makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to the casket and/or outer burial container.

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT ANY CASKET REPRESENTED AS HAVING PROTECTIVE FEATURES, WHICH MAY INCLUDE A GASKET, WILL PRESERVE HUMAN REMAINS.

(By law we are required to collect taxes on all of our merchandise.)

The price range for adult caskets is from $2,000.00 to $7,500.00. For infant/ children casket is from $500.00 to $1,500.00. For oversized caskets is from $3,500.00 to $3,500.00. For alternative containers is from $200.00 to $200.00. For rental casket is $675.00 to $800.00.

BASIC SERVICES OF THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR, STAFF AND OVERHEAD …………$2,995.00

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you selected. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

This Fee includes the following:

  • Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to initial calls.
  • Arrangement Conference.
  • Coordinating service plans with cemetery, crematory, and / or parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased.
  • Clerical assistance in the completion of various forms and permits associated with the funeral.
  • Also covers overhead, including facility maintenance, equipment and inventory costs, insurance and administration.
  • Expenses, and governmental compliance.

Embalming…………………………………………………………………………………………$1,095.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Every licensed funeral director who holds an un-embalmed body for a period longer than

24 hours shall cause the body to be refrigerated. CA Code of Regulations 1233c

SPECIAL CHARGES

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home$2100.00

This charge includes basic services of staff, removal of remains, embalming, necessary authorizations, and local transportation to airport.  This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body.  This charge applies to shipment within the continental United States only and does NOT include shipping charges/freight or any merchandise.

Receiving of Remains from Another Funeral Home$2450.00

This charge includes basic services of staff, transportation from the shipment receiving point (LAX airport) to our care, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory.  This charge does NOT include visitation, rites or dressing of remains, and does NOT include shipping charges/freight or any merchandise.

Immediate Burial$2,600.00 to $9,9950.00

Our services include immediate burial, without any rites or ceremonies, at the funeral home, graveside or elsewhere.  It includes the removal of remains, transportation to the cemetery and necessary services of staff.  Bathing or dressing of loved one is not included.

Our charge for direct cremation without any attendant, rites or ceremonies includes the removal of remains, local transportation to crematory and necessary services of staff and authorization.  If you wish to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container.  Alternative containers can be made of materials like fiberboard/cardboard, wood/cardboard or composition material (with or without outside covering).  The containers we supply are cardboard container or casket.

OUR CREDIT POLICY

We are an independent business providing services and merchandise and are totally dependent upon our clients for prompt payments. Therefore, is requested at the time arrangements are made. When monies are not readily available or guaranteed to us for funeral expenses and merchandise, evidence of financing and payment must be given prior to the time of the funeral being scheduled and/or announced. If an insurance policy is assigned to us as payment, there will be 5% of the policy value fee added to the funeral services and merchandise selected for processing and handling the account, plus a $150 to $350.00 documentation fee of the account will be added to the initial contract. For your convenience, we accept, cash, cashier checks, master card, and visa credit cards as payment for services and merchandise.
